Question ECU SWOP?

if swoping a ecu from a std wrx to a ecu tek'd wrx ecu do the keys still need coding? i assume they will.... but just checking first, dont want plug the new ecu in and find not work then the old wont work as lost the key coding?

i would think so mate, as each key is programmed to it own ecu. i tried a swap with two sti's ecu's and it didnt happen, however one of the ecu's was a import so something to do with the immobiliser.
