Dump valves
So, iv just bought myself a 2002 Bugeye Wrx Saloon, however its been fitted with a catback exhaust, boost gauge and a Baileys dump valve.
The car feels rough, it has quite a large amount of hesitation as you touch the throttle, seems a long time for any power to come through (i know the charactistics of turbos, however my sister has a 52 Wrx and partner a 05 Sti)
Comparing mine to my sisters wrx, mine feels slow (is much slower in a all gear pulls), and hers instant response and pick up.
Iv spoken to a few people and they have recommended replacing the dump valve with the standerd set up, not a problem as i personally hate dump valve noises!!
Could having a dump valve cause these problems?
Where can I buy the standerd set up/whats it called?
Anyone want to swap a standerd set up!!!!!
Thank you and i hope it makes sense
Phill

Hi Phill just get standard OEM recirc valve(some guys this selling around 25£ here on SN),and your car will pull much better.
Yes,with some dump valves you will have problems( i personally have FORGE),due car running rich
