HI, does anyone know of a garage around the bath/bristol area that clould do the repair?

If Tewkesbury isn't too far up the M5 then Powerstation did a good job on mine, took them a while though. They gave good advice on upgraded parts etc, and put the car on the dyno after - up 10ftlb of torque across the rev range, presumably because of better compression on the tightened head. I was lucky that the car was still drivable with care, off boost and with one eye on the temperature gauge.
