Default Movin the lambda sensor to downpipe on 94 classic.

As in the title - after seeing the thread about the destoryed sensor passing through the turbo I think Id like to peform this little task.....
I have a post turbo socket for a lambda in my downpipe.....
how straight forward is this to do? - just extend the wiring?
Should I use the original type of sensor or will a sensor from a later model (96) be ok?
I have a spare which is a bosch A24-A71 107 28070 - does that mean anything to anyone? - came out of a 96 STI downpipe.

I done this on my 95 wrx , i used the original sensor , if you unclip the plug, off the metal bracket , then the wiring should be long enough to reach the down pipe , it was on mine anyway, hope this helps

Any 3 wire unit should be ok. If you order from http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/muniversal.htm they only list 1 3 wire for Scoobs. :thumb
