anyone know how to remove the wiper arms of early classics as mine need a refurb and looking under the bonnet i cant see how i can get them undone to take off

 

remove small plastic cap on the front of the arm at the pivit point.
undo small 10mm(?) nut.
prise and wiggle and it'll come off no problem.

 

As above, but they come off easier if you lift them to 90 degrees from the screen before removing.

Also, mark the position of the bottom of the blade on the screen with masking tape BEFORE removing the arm, so as to get it back in the right place
