Default Intercooler bonnet scoop

I have a 57 plate 'Hawkeye' WRX which now has an STI intercooler fitted (with other mods) but still require an STI bonnet scoop - does anyone know which scoops will fit? Does it have to be an STI10 'Hawkeye' scoop or will previous version fit with no problems?

any help or accurate info please

Cheers

I beleive the scoops are the same for the Hawkeye WRX and STi it is the undertray that is bigger on the STi.

Cheers for the replies, however I have the undertray from an STI (came with the topmount intercooler from a Hawkeye STI) but the tray is too tall for the WRX scoop? Have tried on the car and is definitely too tall?

Cheers Addison - I'll have another go and make sure it does/does not fit. Sounds like I might need an undertray from a Hawkeye (which 'allegedly' I have) rather than a scoop.

Cheers again

you could bend /cut it to fit without too much trouble
your scoop will get enough air in so it is just a guide, the rubber will seal the intercooler

Just had a goooood look. The larger will definitely not fit - is approx 110mm high and the WRX scoop is only 70mm or so. Looks like the mount that sits onto the intercooler (the plate and the rubber trim) could be 'transplanted' onto the WRX one. I'll dismantle the STI one and have a look.

Cheers for the help.

excuse my ignorance guys but whats the advantage of having a STi undertray?
is it necessary or will a WRX one do? i've just bought an STi intercooler as im planning on getting more horses out of the car with other mods but dont really know about the undertray.

you need the sti undertray to mate as the rubber on the wrx one wont cover all the sti intercooler its smaller

so are all the STi 7/8/9 undetrays the same size? or would it be specific to the intercooler...but i believe they're all the same size too?
or maybe i'm totally wrong...
i ask as i've got an 05 WRX blob but have bought a STi 7 bug intercooler so want to know if i have to get the 7 undertray to go with it.

also just another one....would a STi7 bug bonnet scoop fit my WRX blob?
