Default Exhaust Manifold

I have a 2003 blobeye which has an equal length heat wrapped manifold. However the manifold is blowing and i was wondering if i was to put an unequal length manifold back on, would the car need to be remapped?

At first don't buy cheap copy of headers form eBay or any auction site.
At second about the headers, you will need car remap for headers, but for every headers you will need remap. If manifold/headers blowing check gasket, maybe just gasket is just trashed,i recommend you don't use paper gaskets, but use OEM gaskets.
