Default Classic cutting out

Hi all,

I've got a 95 wrx import and in the last couple of weeks its developed what I believe is a electrical fault. I first noticed it on over run when the rev counter would drop to zero and then back up for a split second but the last few days its got worse and will sometimes cut out for a second whilst driving and other times cut out and wont restart for a few seconds. When it is cutting out/spluttering I can hear a rapid clicking from behind the dash like a relay fault and a couple of red dash lights flicker when this happens. If it completely cuts out and I have to restart, when I put the ignition on these 2 red lights don't always come on and when they don't the car wont restart but always after a couple of attempts the lights come on and it will restart. The 2 lights are the check engine and one next to it that looks like a heater coil? Any ideas anyone? There are no fault codes stored.
Thanks in advance, Ben
