Question WHAT ARE THE BEST MODS FOR MY CAR

I have a 1996 uk wagon with a decat system and a ramair induction kit also dv the rest of the engine is stock i bought the car for £250 as it was in need of alot of tlc.... its now mot'd n ready for the road & now proberbly worth around £1000/£1200 and ive spent around £550 on second hand parts getting it up n ready for mot so the way i see it i have around £300 to spend on it before i start to lose money on it (this doesnt mean i have to stop at £300 tho ) nothing silly as i have spent 6month fixing it i dont wanna go take it out n on the first open road go n f**K up the engine so i think around the 300bhp should be fine .....What would be the best mods and how much would i need to spend???? it has a tdo5 turbo and a 7d ecu also thought i would mention that as i was told to change the turbo to tdo5 but its already got one

a remap costs around £350 so that would be your best option, get around 320 to 340 bhp on your td05. would be best to settle on around 300 bhp/torque, as when you get to the limits of a td05 you really need to start considering, walbro fuel pump, bigger injectors and most likely a sti top mount as the old shape slanty intercoolers aren't very good.
