I have just got hold of an sti semi-closed deck block from an 07 or 08 plate Impreza (cant remember off the top of my head) with the intention of rebuilding over time for my car. However I have since decided I will probably go down a different route and would like to get rid of the block, trouble is I do not know what it is worth??
It needs a rebore and hone to suit 99.75/100 mm pistons.
Any ball-park figures?

Anyone help me with what this is worth? I'm normally quite good with pricing up parts but I haven't a clue on this one!

 

How much do you want for it as i might potentially know someone that is looking for a buggered 2.5 STi whole motor, all intact, however he might well be interested in the bottom end as it would be getting a full rebuild anyway to a 2.7 stroker. He will have pound notes waiting.

Does it still have the crank and pistons intact??

You're waiting for someone to give you a ballpark idea for an offer on something that right now is an unknown quantity. Until you reply with what this motor actually consists of you're unlikely to get any ideas or offers.

When you post some more info and decide on a price please let us know, in the meantime eBay here we go!!
