I have fitted some 440cc yellow phase 1 injectors into my 96WRX but they keep leaking. The injectors were cleaned and checked but I have had three of the four top O rings pinch and leak and I now have at least one of the lower O rings leak. I know this as the car is running really badly and stinks of petrol from the exhaust.
Is there any way of ensuring the O rings don't get pinched? Should they be lubricated when going in? and if so what with?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'd be done with it and take it to a specialist such as API to get them refitted professionally. You don't want to be taking a chance with the fuel system - esp. with the potential scenario of fuel squirting out at high pressure over hot exhaust parts.
No offence to your good self of course.

The outer thing is have you had it remaped to account for the Bigger injectors if not then that might be why to

Vasolene or a Red Rubber grease works well on the o rings
Make sure the top lip of the rail is clean - There will more than likely be some superficial corosion and crud that will need to be cleaned off.
Ensure the thin nylon spacer shim is fitted under the bottom O Ring. (if it's a phase 1.5 injector)
Place the injector into the rail, make sure it is sitting squarely before firmly pushing it down into place.
If you've previously leaked a lot of fuel into the cylinder(s), i would remove all the plugs and crank the engine with the cam and crank sensors unplugged once you have sorted the leaks, to remove excess fuel. Then replace the plugs and initially fire the motor with the injectors unplugged, to burn off any remaining.

. Hopefully they will go in and not get nipped where they seal.
