Default 3" decat - remap?

Today I replaced my turbo back decat 2.5" exhuast with a full 3" H&S system. My car was mapped by Andy Forrest a few months back running a vf28 but I've read in various threads that you need a remap after fitting a 3" system?

I dont have any figures but I asked Andy at the time of mapping for circa 300bhp. My friend is now looking to replace his td04 with a vf28 and I have considered swapping him so I can trade that in for Andy Forrest's hybrid version but if im after further power. Would this be worth it or am I better sticking with my vf28 for potentially 330bhp??

Save your cash and stick with the 28 for a bit more top end/torque. I think the 04 Hybrid is good for 290-310 all told. I know it allegedly spools like a whirling dervish, but it's not as if the VF28 is exactly lacking in this department itself...

I thought the hybrid would have been capable of a bit more combined with the quick spool up rate but if thats the case, its not worth the money for the sake of a few rpm. The second map should be cheaper and ill ask nicely for a few extra horses.
