99 prodrive wagon non start????
Hi guys, its been a while since i got on here but since my last post i now have a nicely re-built part forged ej20 fitted and it has all been running nicely until a couple of days ago when it was a struggle to start, i then did a good 2/3 hour journey, when i returned it wouldnt start, after some head scratching i figured out the fuel pump wasnt running and checked every fuse and relay i could access, still nothing, AA towed me back to the workshop, ive checked through again and cant trace the fault, the pump will run and the car will fire up if you energise the fuel pump with a power probe,
i have tested every relay and every fuse and still nothing???
Any ideas? it does have a sigma alarm/immobiliser fitted which seems to operate okay (its a u.k spec vehicle)
are there any hidden fuse boxes or relay boards??
ive checked autodata and its not very helpful
any ideas greatly received!!!!

I had this problem on my MY99 wagon,it turned out to be the Sigma alarm ECU thats under the dash, theres a relay in it for the fuel pump , it had burnt out so wasnt powering the pump.I had to replace the alarm ECU , think it cost me around 80 quid.

Hi mate, your message came through just i came to the same conclusion, for now ive cut the fule pump bypass wiring away from the alarm, and hard wired it into an ignition live with a ancillary relay and fuse! so she's a runner for now, thanks for your reply tho mate, its much appriciated.
