Default Part number request.

After a part number for a 1995/1996 JDM Impreza WRX Lambda sensor, an oem replacement.

I`m not after a universal jobbie (as thats whats on my car and has failed), but gonna try and get a propper jobbie.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, with either Subaru p/n or manufacturer p/n like Denso etc.

Yeah by the looks of it.
Not gonna put a crappy universal one on, as they are a false economy.
Will have a look around and see if I can get the original cheaper if not I`ll have to bite the bullet!!

If you take yours off and read what it says on there you might find it's actually a Bosch part, not Denso. The original on my '96 UK Turbo certainly was, which is why I wasn't too concerned about getting a universal Bosch replacement. So long as it's zirconia-based and has 3 or 4 wires, I'd be very surprised if it didn't do the job at least as well.

Fair enough, I could understand having doubts about some no-name brand, but that would be a very different proposition all round.

Been told before that it would be a Bosch plug, but hence the reason for the thread lol.
Plus I`ve 3-4 Bosch Vauxhall V6 Lambda sensors here all 3 cable, which are Zirconia, and just worried that the Lambdas range may not be what the JECS ECU wants?? I dunno thats why I ask dull questions.

Would this be what I`m after??

Bit cheaper, and is listed as a Import Lambda and has the right plug on it??

And found this Bosch one with the correct plug in Euro Car Parts of all places.

22690AA260 Lambda Sensor is Currently £155 from Subaru & you need to carfully consider weather to go the Universal route or not.

The reason so many people have had problems with universal sensors on the early cars is that the cars had a 0-5v sensor fitted from the factory & most of the universal types are of the later 0-1v design.

Which voltage are you talking about here, sensor-signal or heater-input? Even on an early classic the normal operating range for the signal-voltage is 0-1v, and I'd be extremely surprised if any lambda senror ever made used a range of 0-1v for the heater input, so what you've said doesn't make very much sense.
