I,d go for the Vf 35, great turbo with minimal lag. I had one on my last classic. It,s cheaper to buy as well, although the Vf 34 does give a bit more power. Steve.

vf34s got ceramic roller bearings which ye canny get replacements for and the vf 35 has got split thrust bearings (which I haven't tried to get replacements for.)
Experienced surge/chatter due to the greater turbo lag going from the VF34 to VF35 but not sure if this was due to the difference in bearing type or whether this was due to any difference in impellor output.
