Default V7 engine into V2

hi all
im putting a v7 engine into my V2 sti,am i right in thinking that parts such as cambelt,headgasket,oil seals etc need to be for the v7 or are they the same?
im a complete novice at this so any advise will be great
many thanks

do you mean the complete engine or the bottom end? if its the bottom end cambelt is the same, oil seals the same, head gaskets not sure think it depends on your heads?

just the short block,using the heads & top from the V2
