air feed advice ?

Default air feed advice ?

when i bought my bugeye the previous owner had removed the snorkel and resonator so now all a have is the airbox and a piece of fuel hose jammed between that and the wing to try not get a gap so it only getting cold air from the wing , baically wondering do i try source the original parts and refit them ? or do i fit an air feed hose from the front fog cover and run it up the wing ? any ideas what will work best and not cost alot ? thanks in advance

get the original parts if cost is an issue, if fitted with a k&n pannel filter the standard set up is good for 400bhp, the k&n typhoon iner wing set up is very good but will cost about £200.

cool mate just trying to find a snorkel+resonator ,am using a simota panel filter in the original airbox just abit of a pain trying to find the other 2 bits to feed the air to the box ,dont really want to buy them new from subaru if a can help it

Im also looking for the snorkel too, trying to get mine back to normal as the previous owner has put all that sort of rubbish on it. If you find somewhere who sells could you give us a heads up, and vice versa buddy...

If you're not in a mad rush? I'll have a snorkel and bits available from my 2002 bug in mid September. I'm fitting a fmic etc. if any help, sent me a pm.

i would contact a breaker on ebay mate there are a few on there or put up in wanted add on a few different forums i am sure there are plenty knocking about.

anybody on here maybe got a snorkel and resonator lying about after fitting a fmic or doing a air feed mood ?

thanks for the offer mate but the cars getting mapped soon so need 1 in a hurry
