SILLS FOR CLASSIC IMPORT
HI GUYS LOOKING FOR A BIT OF HELP PLEASE!!! I REQUIRE A PAIR OF NEW SILLS (METAL PANELS NOT THE PLASTIC COVERS) FOR A CLASSIC SHAPE IMPREZA 96 IMPORT STI WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE AND QUICKEST PLACE TO GET THEM FROM??
ANYONE SHARE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OR RECOMEND ANYWHERE. AS ALWAYS MANY THANKS FOR REPLIES AND HELP, CHEERS

i tried last year with no luck to find these i ended up having to fab some up in work.
Main dealers should be able to get em at a price
unless you can find and cut them off a good scrapper maybe ?

Subaru unfortunately do not make complete replacement sill panel. it comes in 3 pieces and is part of larger sections of panel work. If you needed a whole sill then things start getting very expensive.
The rear section of sill is part of the rear wing assay and would set you back the best part of £340
The centre section is part of the "B" pillar assay and woul lighten your wallet by £200
The front piece is part of the "A" pillar and then runs back to the "B" pillar this section is £280.
Basicly, if you bought a complete sill then you would end up with the whole side of one car.
Looks like a bit of DIY is in order

basically when u open ur rear passenger door on the classics
if u look at the bottom of ur door u have 2 holes for water to escape outa the door where this drops is rusty and underneath in same places is rot
