I would say 'in my opinion' that they are for the drivers side but to be honest i don't think it matters which way the grooves go, it's just personal preference for me!

i think they are passenger side mate i think the slight arch in the groove points forward at he top of the disc if you imagine them going forward to help disapate water ect

Its not the grooves you need to worry about. Discs may or may not have directional vanes. If they have then the discs must be fitted so that the vanes are pushing the air outwards in the normal direction of rotation.
Passenger side. (If the internal vanes are straight)
Curved grooves lead at the bottom - as a general rule. Straight grooves lead at the top.
There are exceptions (DBA discs that I have on the front!)

This is the reason for fitting them, so therefore the grooves "lean back" to the rear. i.e. the cenrtripetal force throwing out forwards the gas/dust/crud, etc.
So therefore need to go on passenger side, as said.
