Default What info will a Scangauge give me??

Hi all

This is my first post so please go easy with me

I'm building, with a friend, something a bit different that will be using a P1 engine and ECU. We intend to buy a Scangauge so we can see everything that is going on/reported to the ECU.

The trouble is, we don't know what the Scangauge shows when fitted to a Subaru ECU?? So, if any of you have one fitted, can you let me know what info it shows? This will allow us to make the decision on which gauges to fit

Many thanks

I'm pretty sure it don't work on classics, not much does. If you do a quick search, you'll know for sure, as there was a group buy once.

As Joz says, a Scangauge won't work on the classics. If you want anything out of your P1 ECU you need something capable of talking Select Monitor language to it. So, PC + DeltaDash, or PC + ISO9141 interface + something like ECUExplorer or RomRaider. With these you'll be able to read trouble codes as well as a wide range of real time engine data.
