Default Annoying dump valve

If you have a fmic on a classic my99 is it possible to blank off the dv in some way it is getting very annoying .
Would I need a re circ one or can u just blank them off ?
I have tried to be as clear as I can and to spell everything right so try and play nice o and I have got my muzzle on

you can blank it off but the excess boost in the line would have no were to go once the throttle closes which would back up to the turbo and stall it and as for what damage it would/might cause i dont know mate.

wouldnt that cause bad chatter and eventually kill turbo, get a standard one on there and do away with dump valve.

My standard one bolts to the top mount intercooler but I am running a fmic so it just has a pipe coming off for a dv so the standard won't fit.
Is there a aftermarket one?

you could get one off an early v2 which you could make up some pipe work back to the turbo induction pipe mate

Mine is a 98 UK car with a FMIC. It has a Forge recirc dump valve fitted.

You can use the OE Subaru recirc dump valve with a flange adaptor and make the system recirc. This will cure a lot of problems.

New flange adaptor is £26.50.
