Default Remapping?

Im a noob at this stuff but eager to learn what does it mean to remap the ecu or other components if possible?

It means changing the data values (and sometimes the program code) the ECU uses to control the engine. So, boost targets, fuel mixtures, ignition timing, electronic throttle response and so-forth can all be altered, to generate more power and torque, more economy, more flexibility or combinations of any of the above.
