Default Cutting out when cold

Hi guys , I'm new on here and need some help with ej20
iv had s14a's for a while so I know my sr20's

my 96 wrx has a RA engine, sti ecu, td05 tubby, front mount IC,
full stainless exhaust and uppipe,

Only thing is I don't know if it has been mapped, guy I bought it from said it had 340bhp but I think it feels more like 280-300ish, what you guys think??

Sometimes cuts out when cold but fine when heats up, any common probs?

Plugs , coil packs, injectors

thanks roy

If a car of that age has been remapped, and is still running Subaru management, it will have the second ROM chip installed and the link cut to enable it - so the obvious next step would be to open it up and see if there's a second chip. Check too whether it really has got the correct ECU for the engine.

Re. your cold cut-out problem, if it's fine once warmed up, the obvious thing to check would be the coolant temperature sensor feeding the ECU.
