tuning advice pls
hi all ive got a 1996 p reg 555 sti it has a hks induction kit hks 3" exhaust turbo back and that is it as far as i know where should i go next and also can it be remaped on the standard ecu??????????????/ thanks
Only way to keep standard ecu is by adding a remappable daughterboard like this http://www.enduringsolutions.co.uk/ .
Personally before tuning i would make sure the car is in good health first a quick trip to a good rolling road will help find/solve any problems.

i wont be doing anything until ive sorted my (hopefully) small problems out just wanted some basic advice as have limited knowledge on these cars and tuning them also would i be better of buying a fully mappable ecu
The item i've mentioned is fully remappable it just gets soldered onto your original ecu.
Speak to this guy http://www.jollygreenmonster.com/classic.html (Simon) as he does have quite a good reputation on here and can provide the lowdown on an ecu that will fit your needs and budget.
