Default Rally Exhaust - 2002 Sti VF34

Hi there,
I am wanting some advice on the best exhaust setup for a Tarmac Rally Car (2002 Sti - VF34 turbo on 98 octane).

The regulations for Tarmac Rallying in Australia in my class is free from the Turbo back and no Cat is allowed.

What is the best setup, max diameter is 3" and I have heard from other rally guys that 2.5" is best for mid range torque ? But this was before we could delete the Cat, so is the 3" now best with a Cat ??

Any advice or help greatly appreciated.
Regards.
David

Depends on the size of the turbo and the boost you are running so i believe.

Not to clued up on the various turbos though

The Class is "Late Modern" in Targa Tasmania (Australia) it's a 5 day Tarmac Rally.

The reg's are like Group N with some slight differences, like AVO intakes + Turbo Back Exhaust + any ECU and the use of 98 octane fuel.

I have 2002 Sti Spec C Type RA that we are preparing for these types of events.
