Running the RCM team ice centre and back box on the V6 just now.
Its too loud as I bought the one with no silencers.
Should I buy the silenced back box from RCM or should I go for the TSL system (grp n back box and straight through centre)?

The car currently runs the std downpipe as it has not been remapped, but is getting this done in August, so the Downpipe will be changed then.

In short, I dont want it to be as loud and boomy as it is just now and Im not sure that only changing the back box to the RCM silenced one will be much of a help.

Has anyone got the RCM system on their car at present?

I have the TSL full Group N system. I like it. Not too loud but with a nice sound.

BUT: It'd be cold day in hell before I bought anything else from TSL
I won't say why on a public forum.

Me too, not so sure about them going bust.

They certainly trade on e-bay and the "shop" site talks about a new premises..........

yes we are talking about the same TSL, i live 4 miles away from them, one of my mates took over there work shop a couple of months ago as they are no longer trading,

But the website says they have moved into spacious new premises and it shows a 360 degree view.

Never had any bother with TSL myself, i had one of their GP N systems on the car and it was fine just not noisy enough. So i then fitted the TSL Firestorm and that was too noisy ffs lol.

Im now running a RCM 3in system silenced and im happy with that.


When i ordered the Firestorm from TSL there were non in stock so it came from the factory where they are made. It came from Scorpian in Derby, they are still trading and afaik made all the exhausts for TSL
