Default What mods before remap

Hello all just wondered if anyone could suggest of any other cheapish mods I could do to my wrx turbo before getting remapped in a few weeks. Ive put on a full decat exhaust system and a KN panel filter so far!

year of car manufacture will go a long way in helping you receive accurate information.

Get the fuel pump changed, yours could be the original and now getting a bit old, go for a Walbro or similar.

That will be around the £70 area, everything after that will cost, what ECU are you having fitted, also worth asking your mapper for some advice.

I wont say the 97/98 can not be mapped as it can be, however its not generally available to Joe Public.
You will have to go for a standalone ECU, if i was in your position the only way for me would be SIMTEK

i would hold your horses until the much awaited ESL solution becomes available, https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...in-my-car.html,

this will do more or less anything you want and wont cost no where near as much as a apexi.

Thats been coming for years, Duncan posted on here a while ago saying it was not too far away. Not seen an update since, i think ESL are working on their mainstream stuff more than the ECU boards.

as in the link above it is now in real life testing so if all goes well it shouldn't be to long before release.
