hello again,

more issues, now im getting a problem where the cars turns over for ages before spluttering into life. doesnt matter if its hot or cold it still does it and usually requires me to pump the acclerator a bit. im wondering if a 255 pump on std injectors is the problem or naff injectors or what i dont know but it so annoying

please help guys

 

What type and model year of car are we talking about here?

If your car is properly mapped and set up under the bonnet, no, a 255 pump with standard injectors should not be the problem.

If the issue is at its worst when the engine is cold, but less of an issue when hot (or vice versa), the first thing to check is that the coolant temperature sensor feeding the ECU is reading correctly.

As above though if you need more specific help you'll need to give us more specific info.
