Both as good as one an other, I went K&N for the little sticker you put on the air box to stop the mechanic throwing it away at service time

I saw this as well. It's also a lot cheaper.

There are a couple of threads around already about that "review". Well worth a read for anyone thinking of buying a filter on the basis of it.

I would say k&n personally , only because I have been using them for over 20 yrs, on at least 20 different cars( gti's,gte's, cosworths, etc),and can honestly say I have never had a problem with them. I have read that some people say that they are are over oiled, which can lead to maf failure, but I have bought 3 in the last 4 years for my various subaru's and not had any such issues.

I've happily used and re-used a Green cotton one for the past 6 years.

cosworth. Decent gains and not oiled.

bhp Gain isnt the only thing to consider, filtration is just as important

One of the jap mags this month have a review of all the best air filters!! Green I think was second and gave an extra 10 bhp over standard. Pipercross if I remember was number 1 giving an extra 12.5 bhp

That sounds like the same review Scoobydude87 referred to in #4. I wouldn't personally risk the "winner", even if it gave an extra 2.5bhp than the K&N I currently run (and it probably doesn't).
