woning, but only on high boost.
only started yesterday.

but the boost reads higher too?

any ideas what i could check.

im checking the turbo shaft, all the intercooler hoses, the hose for the boost gauge. but if every thing ok, what else could i check

i have a 1.7bar map sencer, but the gauge says its boosting to near 2 bar?
when it reaches this, its wines load

 

have you checked the steering fluid level??

 

check your wastegate, could be creep due to a crack or not working proparly?

well, i checked the turbo, nothing wrong and releaf too
i found a number of little things, the hose for the boost gauge had a slit
the dv was slightly sticking, one of the intercooler hoses was rubbing and was worn ect

but after sorting them all out, it still did it
but found the really issue, one of the lower intercooler hoses behind the bumper, the hose clip was loose and the hose was not on proper.

all seems fine know, and pulls like a train.

 

 

mine whines too but only seems to happen when the missus is in the passenger seat!?! thinkin about it it seems to come from that direction too! :-)

 

well it was a woning, but when on around 1.5 or aboth a type of screeling wone

it didnt sound like boost presure.
thats why i checked the turbo
