Default retro fitting/swapping electric folding mirror parts

is there any way of fitting the mechanism out of an electric folding mirror from a CLASSIC to a non electric folding mirror from a uk blobeye. i could take the chance and buy the ones ive seen but if its impossible i'll have to give it a miss.

Better to wait and get some FOR a blobeye, not to risk damage to the glass etc trying to get the others apart. it's NOT easy..........
