Default If the top hose is split.........

............how long before the bottom one goes too? Ought I to think about doing it while I'm part drained down? Or will it be OK?

5 years ago my top hose went, the bottom is the original one and still ok fingers crossed.

My top one went all of a sudden in traffic. I ended up replacing all of them just to be on the safe side.

Well, it didn't get done. The dealer didn't have one in, and it was going to be a £28+VAT dealer only part, even the parts guy at Leger said they hardly EVER have to replace one.

I got a bottom samco one in red for V3/4 if that helps? Are we talking about radiator hoses here or intake hose?

the top one takes all the abuse. the bottom one rarley fails.

You might aswell spend a little extra on the samco hoses they look alot nicer and they will last alot longer
