Gauges- Help Needed
I have 3 Saga Stepper Gauges fitted in my car.
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure &
Boost Gauge
The boost works fine and shows the same readings as my avc-r does
However the oil temp & oil pressure just display random readings.
They are all powered up correctly, however when I connect the signal cables to the Oil Temp & Oil Pressure gauges they keep on beeping very annoyingly (as if something is not responding) and do not display the correct readings anyway.
Therefore the Oil Temp & Pressure gauges are just powered up however they are not reading anything at all as when the signal cable is plugged it just beeps. I want to know how to fix this problem so I can get them all working properly when plugged in and get the correct readings.
Im not sure if to get new senders for the gauges or do something else..

Help much appreciated..

If the boost gauge works properly, that rules out wiring except to the senders. Do they "daisy-chain" off each other like Defis? If so, check that the little plugs are propely inserted.
Check that the sender wires ARE plugged in SECURELY into the gauge.
Next, try earthing the sender direct to battery with a length of wire, it may be that the earth to the engine block is poor because of sealant used...or are they actually screwed into the block?
If they are like my Defis, there is also a multi-connector NEAR the sender to allow it to be screwed in/out WITHOUT twisting the wiring. Check that this is properly made and not corroded.

Possibly, but what you are describing is what happens if the gauges can't "see" the sender. Try unplugging the boost sender and see if you then get the same from that gauge.
Have you tried an earth wire run from outide of sender to battery, yet? it only has to be held in place and no, you won't get a shock

Is something like this ok?

Also for the sensor underneath the throttle there is nothing plugged in..
Would the kit above solve everything?
Thanks fiestaboy & alcazar

Wherever the gauges came from, or a saga dealership, or saga themselves? There's no wonder your gauges are saying they can't "see" a sender if you don't have senders, now is there?
