Hi peeps, since my car had syvecs ecu fitted the ssqv dump valve does not work properly, seems to be sticking and is p1ssing me off,

what i would like to no is can i blank it off at the intercooler and will it run ok, will it damage the turbo ? will i have much turbo stall ?

Depends on what turbo you have, the newer VF series turbos are stronger, also the strongest ones are the TD series. It will shorten the life of turbo, you can't really notice the turbo stalling to much.

 

it has standard vf28 turbo but soon to have vf35 fitted

I have a forge atomsheric dump valve, and put a harder spring in. Doesn't go off so much
