Hey Guys

UK x reg wagon. whats the quickest way to find out what turbo model is on the car. (looking at changing it) and what standard boost should be.. On full boost mine is at 15psi is that correct.

It will be a TD04, and the boost sounds just about right.

as above, TD04 is the standard turbo at that age

the target boost should be 0.9 bar (13psi) although mine was running ~1 bar on the standard ECU, so yours sounds fine

This is the 3rd classic i have owned just really enjoy driving them but never got that interested in the whole aftermarket stuff. So when it comes to it i dont have a clue.

I know the one i have got at the moment has a baily dump valve, pipercross induction kit and a back box, god knows if its de cat or what.

I want to get a little bit more into it and try and figure out what i should be looking for or if my car is not running right etc.
