Default How many hours does it take to remove

Complete engine, gearbox with rear diff, front mount intercooler, complete exhaust, ecu with wiring and sensors ?

All taken out at the same time, and how much labour charges should i be looking for that sort of job?

Would be helpful to have some official service figures

your looking at about 2 days work there and it depends who you get to do it mate as to how much it would cost.
some garages would charge around £60 per hour which your looking at around the 1k mark
but a good local garage will probably give you a price to do it all for around £350
but if it was me i would do it myself as its free and all you would need is an engine hoist, a freind and a bit of mechanical knowledge

From experience I would say engine, both boxes and exhaust out between 3 and 5 hours.

FMIC, not done one but would guess less than an hour once the engine is out.

ECU out in 10 minutes but not a clue how long to get the loom out as never done it.

Guessing absolute max 8 hours to strip out completely, but pros tend to be faster with windy guns on ramps etc. Even quicker if you are scrapping the shell.

Would get quotes from the local garages for a priced job and see what they say, but would guess around the £200 to £300 mark, depending on which part of the country you are in.

Or do it yourself as T4ylor suggests. Stripping out can be quite fun. Putting back together is usually the slow part.

Good Luck

ecu with wiring and sensors ?
It might help us if you tell us what it is you are trying to achieve because we can then put it in to context. Are you removing all this stuff to put into a track car or a road car? Give us a clue because ECU with wiring and sensors if done in great detail can be a tedious job.
