Default Fueling requirements?

Hi all, wanted some advice about the fueling setup for a planned tune/remap.

Ive got a closed block wrx 93 import, a td0516g, full decat, HKS Mushroom air intake, HKS dumpv, FMIC, z4ecu, Walbro fuel pump currently pushing 300bhp.

Ive got an Apexi Power FC that I want to install and remap. I wanted to know whether it was worthwhile upgrading the injectors (currently had the 380cc) and/or installing a fuel regulator?

Will these two make a big difference when going for the remap, or will the current setup suffice? Your opinions please?!

yes, you want to try and keep injector duty cycle down. 300 bhp is just about maxing out the 380s. would try STi 440s or 550s if you can get a hold of them.the uprated fuel reg will also help but adds to the cost obviously.

Why not sell the Apexi and buy your injectors with the proceeds from that plus it will put some money towards an ESL remap and you get to keep your factory standard ECU. That keeps the car running like factory when pootling around and retains all the factory standard safety features too.

The Jecs ECU is more sophisticated than many aftermarket ECU's therefore after remap it will run as good as an anything else you can buy and give you all the go your setup can give. As has been said 440cc injectors will get your IDC's down at the current power levels but as importantly give you the option for a bit more go.

If you're getting 300bhp from a Z4 it must have been remapped or have some sort of chip, maybe/even a manual boost controller as well. Even with those mods you are not going to realise 40bhp over std without some ECU manipulation. The std ECU is factory mapped for about 260bhp so what else have you done to it?

From what I know, the z4 was chipped at 280 before taking into account the mods.

I've considered the ESL, but now Ive got the Power FC I'm gona run down that route now.
