Smile eBay brakes?

Hi, I just want to ask some advise about brake discs. I'll soon have to replace my brake discs and pads on my 01 WRX, for around £240 on eBay I can get a set front & rear set of grooved and drilled discs and red stuff pads front and mintex pads rear. Does anybody know if these discs are any good? I'm just asking cause I don't understand why they are so cheap compared to other Subaru specialising shops.

You get what you pay for?

Personally, there are two things I won't economise on: brakes and tyres

For discs I'd just go to a motor factor and get a reputable pattern part, then spend a bit extra on the pads.

As has already been said "you get what you pay for"

On top of that I personally wouldn't be putting drilled discs on a road car as they are noisy and tend to crack between the drillings

bren, out of interest, does the 330 front kit just happen to fit under the Classic's OEM MY97-00 16" 'curvy' 5-spokes?:-

...Or do you defo have to have 17"+ alloys?

I ordered these discs off E-bay and they looked GREAT

Only slight problem is that they didn't actually STOP the car

Just about to place an order with Godspeed as a result.

I thought those prices were to good to be true! I'll spend a little bit more and get some brakes that will work.
