Default WRX O2 / Cat Question

Hi Guys

Just purchased a MOT failure Classic N-reg WRX (for a Nurbergring trip), she failed on "Emmisions Lambda + CO"

Fast Idle
CO - Fail 5.35%
HC - OK
Lambda .85 - Fail

Idle
CO 2.03% - Fail

Can anyone tell me if this is the cat thats failed or would it be the O2 sensor?
And do they have an upstream and downstream sensor? can only see a downstream (my mates 2000uk impreza has an 02 sensor straight after the turbo but mine doesnt?)

Also I need to do the cambelt is there any special locking pins tools etc?

Thanks in advance!

Pete
