Default classic turbo oil drain pipe *help please*

i have just taken the turbo off and replaced the gaskets but now the oil drain pipe has come off the engine and im hoping i dont have to take the turbo back off, is there an easier way? i have had a look underneath and i cant get to it, i thought i would see if anyone else has managed to do it with the turbo in place still.

any help would be great,

thanks!

If your on about the oil drain plug at the bottom of the turbo, then you will need to take the turbo off again,as this has a spring clip attached to the hose which can be a real pain to fit. I struggled for 40 mins the 1st time, trying to get the hose ,and then trying to pull the clip up. Use a extra extra(14'-16') long pair of long nosed pliers and the job will take you 5 mins.

Not enough room to fit it when the turbo is still in place, even when you have got the car on ramps ,there aint v much room.

if u end up taking turbo off remove uppipe to. connect pipe to turbo an refit turbo pushing it down onto where conects to engine. u can get access under car easy without uppipe in way then once done refit uppipe to turbo. only thing is that u may prob have to get another gasket from exhaust manifold to uppipe
