Hmmm. You say the car has just been serviced. Was this boost/oil spew problem happening before or has it only started since you had the car back?

If the latter, have you checked the oil level? Is it normal or has the sump been overfilled? Have you performed a compression test?

The thing you probably don't want to hear is that the symptoms you are describing are consistent with piston damage - although a major oil overfill can prompt something similar.

Might help to tell us whereabouts on the planet you are so someone can recommend a local specialist. It sounds like you need someone who knows what they're doing to have a look at your engine for you.

thanks for the reply. no this wasnt happening before it was serviced
although my car did go into wallace performance in aberdeen who were absolute useless and seemed more interested in the expensive evo cars, rather than havin to find out why my car was missfiring..... they made me buy a new maf, hks filter, lamba sensor, cam sensor, 2 oem coil packs, 3 computer checks at 52quid each. turns out it was a pipe came loose! i stay in aberdeen and wallace said it was my rings as soon as i phone them up and told them but id rather get somewhere else that would do a proper job.

You've already been given some ideas. It's impossible to give you any further advice unless you actually respond to what has been written - in particular with regard to oil level.

If this wasn't happening before the service, have you actually checked the oil level yet? Replacing your engine would be a bit silly if it turns out the problem's just an overfill.

Even if it does turn out to be a blown engine, you then need to make a choice between having what you've got put right or replacing. If you replace, you need an engine from the correct model (and year) car or it won't drop in.

Could recommend plenty of places in England but not so many near you. Hopefully someone will be around soon to point you in the right direction.

Stuff Wallace, get yourself to AWD motorsport in Perth. I used to be at Lossiemouth and only went to them. Could also be worth going to Keith garage in Keith as he did my MOT's and was building a rally Subaru at the time.

Reccomend AWD fully as well.
Sounds like piston ring damage but could be a breather issue

So what's changed since the threads above?
Is the service you are referring to the same one that Wallace did way back in April? If so then you've presumbaly checked the oil level since then and found it has been going down quite quickly?
Asking the same question every month isn't going to miraculously make the issue become a cheap fix?
Take it AWD and get a compression/leak down test carried out, but oil spewing out sounds terminal.

To double check if the rings have gone, remove the oil filler cap and check the pressure with ya hand, if theres slight pressure coming out, thats usually normal, but if theres alot of pressure hitting your hand, with spits of oil on your palm afterwards, sounds like rings are letting the gasses pass them into the sump and up out anyway it can find

And check them breathers ! LOL
