Hi guys a simple one - power aside, would it cause any harm/problems fitting an STI size tmic? Just as a bit of bling really instead of the oe WRX one! (car is a 2005 WRX PPP soon to be decatted + remapped)

In the position you are in there are better ways to spend your money, the OE WRX TMIC will cope with anything your TD04 turbo can put out - even after a remap. There would be a small power advantage having the bigger IC on a custom mapped car but it would be minimal.

If you are going to fit one the day to do so would be the day prior to your remap. Until then there's no real point - but equally it is unlikely to do anything satisfying the definition of "harm". It will have a small effect on spool and boost control but sufficiently miniscule that you would be unlikely to notice it.
