Default Sti V4,5 and 6 TMIC fitting on a V2 - advice.

Hi all, looking to get rid of my smaller cooler on my sti v2, as i think the water spray kit hasnt been kind so is a little rusty and wanted to pop a v4, 5 or 6 one on, but mine at the mo is at a slant (covers to the right)

Because of this the under try will be in the wrong place to guide the air down, do i just need the undertray from the car the cooler came from?

Is it that simple?

no there is a bit more involved than mate i wanted to make this mod but it would have involved cutting the inlet manifold down slightly and other mods. Costs would have outweighed benifits go for a front mount it will prob work out around the same

Not simple and the gains are very small.
Fit a well designed FMIC like a Hybrid and you won't look back if you are 280 bhp or more on your Phase 1 or 2.

As harvey says,or if you gonna upgrade the top mount dont bother with any of the v1 to v6 coolers as they all perform roughly the same.Go for an sti v8 if you staying with a top mount bud, they are the best of the bunch.
