Im looking for a sump pan for my 2001 subaru impreza gx (non turbo) bugeye but its gonna take subaru 6 weeks to get the part, would a sump from a turbo fit a non turbo as theres loads of websites with turbo sumps????

i fitted a turbo one to a sport classic a while ago. i think the only difference is there been a pipe inside for the oil return from the turbo or somethin on the lines of. you can pick the turbo ones up cheap.

very awkward to change tho. undo all mounts and jack up via the geabox to access rear bolts and reseal with threebond 1215 from subaru or the likes off

 

Cheers mate rang subaru and awaiting a part number as keith from scooby projects has plenty of sumps for the turbo but didnt know if they would fit but if the part number is the same then it will fit so fingers cross, its got a temp repair the now so should hold but dont fancy waiting 6 weeks
