hi guys iv just bought a 96 ltd ed 555 wrx sti and i think the head gasket has gone the car is running about 350bhp got a fmic apexi ecu hand held 2 stage boost controler high boost is set at 1.3 bar the problem i have is iv got bubbles in the coolant they seem to be coming from the turbo water pipe if you crimp the pipe they stop? iv changed the turbo removed the rad and thermostat flushed the system through refilled with 50/50 coolant/water but still the same thing happens when on a run the water bubbles up and out of the plastic bottle behind the light the thing is it doesent seem to over heat the temp on the apexi hand controler alwys reads between 86-92c any ideas?

did a compression check apart from no 3 being slightly down at 8.5 the rest were between 9.5 & 10.2 all were in the good bracket!

need as much help as i can get?

Get a sniff test done.

Is there waxy deposits in the header tank filler neck? Or is the oil foamy and grey?
