Default Prosport gauges fitted but none of them work

I have fitted 3 Prosprt gauges to my STI, Boost, Oil Temp & Oil Pres.

I wired them up using the clock wiring (as it had pos./neg./lig/acc), they powered up but with the engine running the oil gauges read nothing, flash and the pres. gauge beeps. The boost gauge was reading vacuum 20 and flicking to 10 here and there.
If you only turned the ignition on the oil temp read 90 deg. even when the engine had been sat for about 8 hrs, the pres still flashed and beeped and the boost still read vacuum 20 flicking to 10 now and again.

I have now run pos. and neg. straight from the battery thinking that the power was an issue. The boost gauge now reads nothing and both oil gauges flash and the pres still beeps. This is with the ignition on or the engine running?

Tearing my hear out here, can any one help PLEASE

Thanks in advance

Chris

If they are from Prosport call Prosport for help??? Call Pete for advice, and at worst get him/his lads to fit them so they work??

What make of gauges, what sensors are they reading from, may help.

Oil presure on tick over cold may be 90 psi, hot lower, maybe 30 - 60 psi, 30 psi hot tickover ( IIRC ).

Boost will NOT go positive until under load, so will be 0ve / vacuum and upto 0 psi when revved stationary.

No idea on oil temp isue.

Would these be SPA ( I think ? ) gauges - they are a bit intelligent and can do odd things.

I had the same problem with mine and so have a few others in other posts. The connections at the back of the gauge are poor. I glued my connection in the end after my replacement didnt work properly ether.
