Post rattling from my 97 scoob! :(

hello all, i've recently discovered a rattling noise coming from my scoob, it usually happens when i downshift gear into second, its a rapid rattling sound and is starting to worry me as i'm starting to hear it when i go over bumpy or rough ground, any ideas as to what this is are fully appreciated, thanks in advance

Theres a few heat shields about, but a cat on its way out can sound like a can full of stones. I had a rattle from underneath and located it to a heat shield by getting it on a ramp and giving the exhaust( cooled ) a thump in different places.
