Default Anyone offer any advise etc!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if anyone can offer up any ideas but here goes.

Car is a 95 WRX with full decat,walbro,440's and power fc mapped to 1.0 bar

I was having a bit of fun with a BMW M3 the other day (nothing major just a couple of pulls in 3rd and 4th but noticed that boost peaked at 1.2 and knock was measured at 66 max revs was only 5103 RPM though.

When I was checking the fluid levels today I noticed that one of the pipes on the boost solenoid has split and was hanging off not sure which one it is it points towards the inlet manifold as you look into the engine bay and is the highest of the 3 nipples on the solenoid.

Could the 2 be related in anyway would a loose pipe on the solenoid cause overboost etc

thanks for any ideas/help.

If you could post pictures it would help. If no air is getting to the actuator then the wastegate won't open to reduce boost so yes it would overboost.
