Ported Venturi Pipe = Very much recommended
Hi All,
Thought I'd enclose some feedback having just had my pro-drive up-pipe swapped out for a 50-43-50mm ported venturi up-pipe. (Anyone make me an offer for the old one? I can port it too if anyone wants it).
The difference in throttle response is remarkable. This tweak by itself is easily as good as all the rest of the header porting in terms of progressive improvement. The turbo spool is far faster than before. For £150 plus fitting from Subaru4You I can wholeheartedly recommend this. And they had it made to my spec!! Only caveat was that I had to increase the throttle tip in enrichment for CL and OL fueling so it wouldn't go lean and start melting pistons!! I've had to stop driving on diff-free for the moment because the car started giving me torque steer where it didn't before - nice problem to have!
Now, anyone know where I can get a heavy port and polish on VF35?
