Default Question about Simtek install

Hi

I'm going to get Simtek installed in my V5 STI Type R later this week but I'm wondering about the temp sensor that is near the MAF? My car had a KN induction kit when I bought it and the sensor was just sitting loose in the engine bay but now I will use a straight aluminum pipe instead of MAF that goes to the air filter in the inner wing. Should I drill a hole for this sensor in the intake pipe?

I'm not sure that this sensor is there on the Swedish market cars and the knowledge of JDM STI and Simtek is still limited here.

I don't have a good pic of the sensor but I think it sits somewhere on the stock airbox (the stock box was lost when I bought the car so I don't know exactly) but this is how the Simtek setup will be.

The simtek has its own charge temp sensor, so you do not need to use the standard one. The simtek sensor is normally tapped in near the TB.
